Players that make up the Manchester City first team could get as much as £1million each should they defeat Chelsea to win the Champions League final in Istanbul on May 29.

Pep Guardiola’s squad are on track to grab their share of about £15million as they also look good to winning a treble foe first time in their history.

SunSport are reporting that high earners like Kevin de Bruyne have clauses in their respective contracts if they lift the coveted UEFA title.

Other players will smile to the bank with nothing less than £250,000 should they win the title for the first time in their history.

The club will earn £100million for winning the Champions League, but that figure will drop drastically to £16.5million should they lose.

They meet rivals Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday and victory for the Sky Blues will see them become the English champions and then they bank another £150million.

A third crown in four years will mean further bonuses starting at around £150,000 per man for the first-team squad.

The bonus for winning the Carabao Cup has already been triggered.

Meanwhile, Labour Party Member of Parliament, Clive Efford, is calling on the government to deny travel access to football fans hoping to flood Turkey for the Champions League final billed for May 29.

Manchester City have already booked their spot and are awaiting the winner between Chelsea and Real Madrid in the second leg.

Sources reveal that UEFA is planning to hand the finalists 8,000 tickets while the hosts are preparing for not less than 25,000 supporters at the stadium - that is one-third of the venue capacity.

However, the scary rate in the increase of coronavirus cases in the European country has sent shivers into the spine of the British politician who wants the government to stop all movement to Turkey.

Legit.ng earlier reported that N'golo Kante was named the man of the match for both Champions League semifinal games between Chelsea and Real Madrid.

The French World Cup winner stunned his fans after leaving Stamford Bridge in a Mini Cooper car .

Kante was almost everywhere during their first meeting at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium last week and able to replicate the performance at the Bridge yesterday in their 2-0 win.
