Chelsea star, Mason Mount is relishing reaching the Champions League final for the first time in his career but stated that the Blues should have scored about five goals against Real Madrid.

Mount was on the scoresheet as Thomas Tuchel’s side spanked Los Blancos 2-0 in the second leg of the Champions League semifinal at the Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, May 5.

Timo Werner had put the hosts ahead in the first half and Chelsea missed several chances in the game before Mount tucked home to ensure Real had no chance of staging a blockbuster comeback.

The Premier League club go through - winning 3-1 on aggregates and after the match, Mount said via SunSport:

"We should've probably had about five. But the most important thing is we won tonight. We want to go into every game winning it.
"It was 1-0 but that really didn't matter because if they score, they were back in the game.
"We haven't won nothing yet. Hopefully we've got two massive cup finals and hopefully we can win."

Mount further took a swipe on Real Madrid star Toni Kroos who earlier stated that no player has given him sleepless nights in the last 15 years.

In the post-match interview with CBS Sports via Sport Bible, Mount says:

"I saw one of their players [Kroos] saying he doesn't lose sleep over any of our players. Maybe he should lose sleep over us as a team."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that N'golo Kante was named the man of the match for both Champions League semifinal games between Chelsea and Real Madrid.

The French World Cup winner stunned his fans after leaving Stamford Bridge in a Mini Cooper.

Kante was almost everywhere during their first meeting at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium last week and able to replicate the performance at the Bridge yesterday in their 2-0 win.

He bossed the midfield despite the presence of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in the Los Blancos' squad in the game.
