Antonio Conte has guided Inter Milan to their first Serie A title in 11 years after beating FC Crotone 2-0 earlier this weekend.

The Nerazzurri were confirmed champions on Sunday, May 2 following Atalanta's 1-1 draw against Sassuolo at Stadio Mapei - Citta del Tricolore.

This now means that the Old Lady have missed out on winning their 10th straight Italian League title having won the last nine editions.

As it stands, Juve are currently fifth on the table and they will play against Udinese with the hope of bettering their chances of playing in the top European competition next season.

The Turin-based club has now sent their congratulatory message to their rival on winning the topmost title in Italian football.

Andrea Agnelli, Juventus president, while rejoicing with the champions told them that they should watch out that they will be back.

"Well done Steven! Happy for you and proud of being your loyal opponent on the pitch and friend off the pitch. We’ll be back Inter."

The Old Lady on their official Twitter handle also said:

"Well done to Inter Milan on winning the 2020/21 Serie A title."

Legit.ng earlier reported that Portuguese sensation Cristiano Ronaldo could depart Italian club Juventus at the end of the season according to reports from local outlet Gazetta dello Sport.

It was gathered that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has become very distant from his teammates and no longer exhibits that fighting spirit he is famous for.

Ronaldo still has one more year left on his mammoth contract with Juve and there are interests from Manchester City, PSG and his former club Manchester United.
