Ahmed Musa on Monday, April 19, started training with Kano Pillars who are top Nigerian Professional Football League after making a return to the NPFL.

There was absolute jubilation in the camp of the Sai Masugida as all the players were happy to have the Super Eagles captain with them.

Kano Pillars captain Rabiu Alli welcomed the former Leicester City man to the squad and promised that himself and other teammates will support Ahmed Musa this term in the NPFL.

Ahmed Musa had to return to the Nigerian Professional Football League after his failure to land a deal at any of the top European clubs.

He is not new in Kano considering that fact that Ahmed Musa made his name at Kano Pillars ten years ago netting 18 goals before moving to Europe.

While speaking with Legit.ng on Ahmed Musa's return to Kano Pillars, goalkeeper Suraju Ayeleso described the Super Eagles captain as a morale booster.

''It is a privilege for all of us at Kano Pillars to have the Super Eagles captain with us and we have all agreed to help him score goals in the second round of the season.
''I used to watch him years ago on television and I think I am happy to call myself a teammate of Ahmed Musa which is an amazing record for me and everyone in the team.''

Meanwhile, Kano Pillars are currently occupying second position on the NPFL table and they will face Warri Wolves in their next League game in which Ahmed Musa is expected to play.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa bought himself nice PS 5 worth N650,000 to celebrate his return to former Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) champions Kano Pillars.

Ahmed Musa is one of the richest Nigerian players considering the money the Super Eagles captain has made since he started his football career.

The former Leicester City striker decided to return to Kano Pillars where he made his name after his failure to get a deal in Europe.

And according to the video spotted online, Ahmed Musa can be seen offloading the delivery of the PS 5 in his house with happiness.
