French star Paul Pogba has reportedly requested a £500,000-a-week deal from Premier League club Manchester United if he will stay back, SunSport reports.

The former Juventus midfielder still has a contract with the Red Devils which runs until the summer of 2022, but Real Madrid looking to lure him to the Bernabeu.

Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola reportedly spoke with the club chiefs that his client is ready to sign an extended contract, but only if the weekly wages is worth a staggering half a million per week.

UK outlet Daily Star is claiming that should United pay the 28-year-old such an amount, he will become the club’s highest-paid player in history.

French giants Paris Saint-Germain, Italian giants Juventus also join Real Madrid in the chase of the player whose base wage could net somewhere in the region of £800,000-a-week due to his image rights.

Pogba and Raiola are aware that his next move will probably be the last lucrative deal he is likely to be offered.

The Red Devils signed the midfielder for a club-record fee of £90million in 2016.

But during his time with the Premier League giants, he is yet to win a league title, with only EFL Cup and the Europa League winners' medals to his name.

Meanwhile, Man United are on the verge of releasing the number one goalkeeper David de Gea in a bid to make Dean Henderson the first choice.

The Spanish shot-stopper who currently earns a massive £350,000-per-week could be let go at the end of the season as United look to free up space in their books.

The 30-year-old has two-year left on his current deal at Old Trafford and the former Atletico Madrid will have to accept a pay cut to remain at the Manchester club.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester City attacker Kevin de Bruyne tops the Premier League highest earners table with a staggering £385k-a-week deal.

The Belgian signed a new five-year contract extension earlier this week having originally joined them from Wolfsburg in 2015.

After spending six years at the Etihad Stadium, the 29-year-old has already won two EPL titles including four EFL Cups, one FA Cup, and a Community Shield.

With his outstanding performances for the Citizens, the former Chelsea star definitely deserves the huge pay he gets every week at City.
