Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has reiterated his commitment to the Spanish giants claiming that he wants to hang his precious boots at the Nou Camp.

The Spain international is no doubt one of the best defenders in the world considering his style of play both for Barcelona and the national team.

Gerard Pique actually started his career at Barcelona's Academy before moving out and played for Premier League giants Manchester United.

During his time in the Premier League, the 34-year-old was rated as one of the best defenders then in the English topflight.

According to the report on GOAL, Gerald Pique explained that he has no plan to play for any other club in his career than Barcelona.

"I will retire at Barca. I've always said that.
“I play football because I'm representing Barca. I don't see myself on another team. I wouldn't have the motivation, it would be a drama."

Even though Lionel Messi has not signed a new deal at Barcelona, Gerard Pique explained that the Argentina international is happy at the Camp Nou.

"Events happened in the summer that ended in the best possible way because Leo stayed at Barca.
“I see him very happy right now and having him by my side is a guarantee of success."

Meanwhile, Barcelona are currently occupying second position on the Spanish La Liga table with 40 points after 20 games played so far.
