Barcelona legend Lionel Messi could be making a mega million move to French champion Paris-Saint-Germain at the end of the ongoing League season in Europe.

And that will be if Paris-Saint-Germain should appoint Argentine gaffer Mauricio Pochettino as their next after recently sacked Tuchel.

12 months after he was fired at Premier League side Tottenham, Pochettino is now set to be given the chance to return to management at Paris-Saint-Germain.

PSG chiefs have been looking for how they can get the signature of Lionel Messi from Barcelona, and according to the report on Daily Mail, Pochettino could help them land the superstar.

Messi can leave Barcelona for free at the end of the season, and is widely expected to call time on his career at the Nou Camp following a fractious summer.

The Argentina international wanted to leave Barcelona before the start of the new season due to the disappointing term the Catalans had.

Barcelona also crashed out of the Champions League suffering an embarrassing defeat against Bayern Munich who went on to beat Paris-Saint-Germain in the final.

Messi and Neymar have remained close friends ever since the latter's departure from Barcelona with the Argentine having on previous occasions tried to use his influence to lure him back to Spain.
