Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed he will be without five key players when Man United take on Arsenal on Sunday, November 1.

United will host the Gunners at Old Trafford for their first Premier League fixture of the new season in a match both sides will be keen to earn a favourable result.

However, Solskjaer will have to do it without a number of players who are battling injuries and suspension.

Anthony Martial headline a list of the players who will play no role in the mouthwatering tie as he is suspended.

The Frenchman is currently serving a three-match suspension after he picked a red card during United's 6-1 mauling by Tottenham.

The forward has already missed two league matches, with the Sunday tie set to be his last.

New summer signing Alex Telles is also due to be out of action after he recently tested positive for coronavirus that also ruled him out of the RB Leipzig Champions League meeting.

Defensive duo Phil Jones and Eric Bailly are both injured and will therefore not feature, with the former expected to be available in December.

Jesse Lingard is also out with an unspecified problem.

Apart from the five, Solskjaer has a fully fit squad to select from as he looks to build on his side's 5-0 Champions League win over Leipzig midweek.

United kicked off their EPL campaign on a disappointing note that now leaves them languishing in 15th from five matches played.

Arsenal, on the other hand have registered dismal results in recent weeks, eclipsing their otherwise bright start to the season.

They sit 12th on the log with nine points, with victory at Old Trafford enough to fire them to seventh.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Sergio Romero's hopes of leaving Manchester United this month for a move to MLS side Inter Miami has reportedly collapsed and will now have to remain at Man United until January.

The Argentine goalkeeper has been struggling for games at Manchester United and has been hoping to leave Old Trafford on Friday, October 30.

Romero who earns £100,000-a-week at Manchester United is now 4th choice at Old Trafford behind David De Gea, Dean Henderson and Lee Grant.
