Paris Saint-Germain could miss the services of up to eight key players during their Champions League clash against Man United.
The two sides are scheduled to square it out at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night, October 20.
However, the match may have come too soon for PSG who have a long injury list to contend with ahead of the clash.
It is understood that up to eight first-team players could possibly miss the tie, with manager Thomas Tuchel initially claiming he might have only 11 players available for selection.
talkSPORT quoted Tuchel saying:
“Maybe we will only have 11, 12 or 13 players available."
Mauro Icardi, Juan Bernat and Thill Kehrer head-line a list of players who could play no role in the match, with the trio expected to sit out due to injury.
Marquinhos, Marco Veratti, Julian Dealer and Danilo Pereira are also said to be major doubts after they missed PSG's league encounter against Nimes on Friday, October 16.
Leandro Parades could also possibly join the seven, having suffered an injury during the Nimes victory.
Notwithstanding, the attacking trio of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Angel Di Maria are all available to play.
Ander Herrera, a former Man United player is also expected to make the starting line up to face his former side in a midfield that could include Rafinha and Gueye.
PSG will be keen to replicate last season's exploits in the competition that saw them reach the finals for the first time in their history.
They, however, went on to lose by a solitary goal against Bayern Munich who lifted the European title.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported Man United will miss the services of the trio of Mason Greenwood, Edinson Cavani and Harry Maguire when they take on Paris Saint-Germain in their first round of Champions League group fixture on Tuesday, October 20.
It was initially thought Cavani could make his United bow against his former side, but the veteran striker who joined the Red Devils on a free transfer missed the travelling party.
On the other hand, it remains unclear why Maguire was also not included in the squad that jetted to France despite enjoying a resurgence during United's dramatic late 4-1 win over Newcastle at the weekend.
