Cristiano Ronaldo has been slammed by Dynamo Kiev manager Mircea Lucescu over the much debated comparison between the Portuguese star and Lionel Messi as regards who is the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT).

This is coming less than 24 hours before Juventus take on Lucescu’s side in the UEFA Champions’ League group stage.

Dynamo Kiev will also face-off with Barcelona as well as Ferencvaros in the preliminary stages of the competition this season.

An early kick-off is scheduled for the Dynamo Kiev game with Juventus on Tuesday evening, October 20 and according to Lucescu, Ronaldo cannot do it alone as he needs everyone to shine.

Lucescu said as quoted by SunSport:

“I've come across them many times, but my players haven't. They'll come across them soon. I have to explain what they're like.
“Messi is a short player who is exceptional in tight spaces because of his acceleration, self-confidence, dribbling and all that.
“Ronaldo is a different kind of player because he loves to score so much that he needs bigger spaces. He needs everyone's help, his team-mates' help. Messi can do a lot of things on his own.

Meanwhile, Lionel is Messi is the best footballer in the 21st century ahead of his closest rival Cristiano Ronaldo, according to the Independent.
