Eden Hazard has returned for Real Madrid pre-season overweight and the club are not happy with the way he turned out, reports claim.
The 29-year-old became the club's record signing following his £140 milllion move from Chelsea last season.
But for the second time running, the Belgian captain is having issues with keeping himself in shape ahead of the new season.
According to Spanish news media outlet ABC, Hazard's recent appearance has left manager Zinedine Zidane unhappy.
Hazard was part of Belgium's Nation League campaign in the past few days, but he did not play a single match for the Red Devils.
According to Sport, the former Chelsea attacker is now two to three weeks behind his fellow teammates who had begun training ahead of the new campaign.
Real Madrid are understood to be worried about Hazard's attitude to committing himself to the club since his big summer move from the Premier League.
Los Blancos will take on Real Sociedad in their first La Liga fixture of the season and 20-year-old winger Vinicius Junior could be given the nod to start ahead of Hazard.
Hazard managed to score just one goal for Madrid last season as he was struggling with a series of injury problems.
The ex-Lille star was also slammed by fans for his poor showing in Real's Champions League last 16 second leg loss to Man City, where he failed to dribble past an opponent.
After Zidane's side recaptured the title from rivals Barcelona last season, Hazard admitted that the 2019-20 campaign was his worst in his playing career.
"This year, we collectively won this league title, but I have surely had the worst season of my career individually," he told France Info.
"It was a somewhat strange season, with everything that happened.
"When you play for Real Madrid, you want to win all the titles."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard joins Cristiano Ronaldo and a few other football stars who own an exquisite £500,000 worth Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.
The Belgian forward joined Los Blancos from Chelsea in a deal valued around €100 million last summer. Reports claim the 29-year-old earns £400,000 per week at Santiago Bernabeu.
And his two weeks income is more than enough to buy the expensive machine and not feel the virtue that left his account.
