- Neymar is said to be the best after Messi
- Rosell says the Brazilian star fits perfectly for Barcelona philosophy
- PSG star has been heavily linked with a return to the club
Former Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has stated that Brazilian star Neymar is the best footballer in the world after Lionel Messi, Mirror reports.
Neymar left the Camp Nou to join the Ligue 1 giants for a whopping €222million transfer fee in 2017 and has been heavily linked for a possible return to the Spanish club.
Rosell was at Barcelona when they bought Neymar from Santos in 2013, and claims he's better than Cristiano Ronaldo.

"If I were the president of Barca, I would try to sign Neymar," Rosell told COPE and Radio Marca.
"He is the second-best player in the world after Messi and fits perfectly into the philosophy of the club.
"But with experience, he would sign him with two contracts, one sports and the other behavioural."
However, former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has tipped 2018 FIFA World Cup youngster Kylian Mbappe as the player to overthrow Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Although some quarters believe former Barcelona winger Neymar has the quality to become the next world's best, the former Premier League winning coach has a contrary opinion.
Linked with a move to sign the forward while still at the Emirates Stadium, Wenger believes Neymar could challenge his countryman for the award.
