Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo on Wednesday, February 5, turned 35, and the Portuguese football star has made it clear that he wants to play for five more years.

Cristiano Ronaldo started his football career on the streets of Portugal before joining Sporting Lisbon where from there he moved to EPL side Manchester United.

His career started flourishing at Manchester United before he left for a move to Real Madrid where Ronaldo won four Champions League titles.

The father of four children has won five Ballon d'Or awards in his career so far with only Lionel Messi leading him after winning his sixth recently.

Since winning the Premier League title, Spanish La Liga and Italian Serie A, and at the age of 35, many would be thinking Ronaldo is near retirement.

But the footballer himself is not thinking in that direction as he believes he can still play for the next five years when he will turn 40 because he believes he is treating himself well.

''I am treating myself well and I think I can play safely up to 40 years. I know I won't last for a lifetime because everything that has beginning must has end.

''I will stop when I have no incentives because physically can never be a problem for me,'' Cristiano Ronaldo explained according to Marca.

Ronaldo has won virtually all the trophies any player can dream of and the only missing title in his cabinet is the FIFA World Cup.

His greatest rival as well Lionel Messi has not lifted the World Cup despite winning all other titles with Barcelona.

Earlier, had reported how Cristiano Ronaldo is regarded as the greatest footballer of all time by many due to his achievements over the last 18 years.

Ronaldo has won the prestigious Champions League title five times as well as three Premier League trophies and two La Liga titles and a Serie A crown.
