- David Alaba has emerged a transfer target for Premier League side Chelsea

- The 27-year-old defender has just 18 months left on his contracts at Allianz Arena

- Chelsea are reportedly ready to table in £60million for the Austrian star in January

Bayern Munich defender, David Alaba, has reportedly emerged a transfer target for Chelsea, with the Premier League giants ready to splash a whopping £60million on the Austrian star.

Frank Lampard is ready to boost his squad after Chelsea transfer ban was halved by CAC last year, and the Blues boss is eyeing a move for a couple of stars including Jadon Sancho and Wilfried Zaha.

For now, both Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso have been axed out of Chelsea squad after diminishing in quality, and there is an indication that Lampard may bring in new star into their position.

Captain Cesar Azpilicueta has been switched from right-back to left-back, with Reece James coming in on the right on strong partnership note with Fikayo Tomori.
