Norwich vs Tottenham: Kane scores late penalty as Spurs play 2-2

Norwich vs Tottenham ended in a 2-2 draw as Spurs came back from behind twice to play 2-2 at Carrow Road.

Christian Eriksen canceled out Mario Vrancic goal and Harry Kane's penalty share the points for Spurs after Serge Aurier had scored an own goal.

The Canneries got their noses in front in the 18th minute as Vrancic's shot was too hot to handle for Paulo Gazzaniga, 1-0 to home side.

Teamu Pukki thought he had made it 2-0 in the 32nd minute after latching onto to a diagonal pass from Vrancic as he displaced Gazzaniga with the finish.

But after a long look at the VAR, the Finland striker was millimeters offside and the goal was disallowed by Kelvin Friend.

Spurs were lucky not to have gone down by two goals at the break as Norwich took a 1-0 lead into the interval.

Ten minutes after the restart Eriksen put Spurs back on level terms from curling free-kick that gave Tim Krul no chance in goal. 1-1 to Mourinho's men.

Norwich restored the lead in the 61st minute thanks to an own goal from Aurier who was unlucky to put the ball into the back of his own net.

But Kane won a penalty in the 81st minute after he was fouled by Christoph Zimmerman and the Englishman stepped up to convert the resulting spot-kick to even the score at 2-2.

The match ended in a draw as Tottenham failed to move up the table but Norwich are still battling for survival at the bottom of the table.
