Manchester United supporters are pleading with club eggheads to do everything humanly possible to sign Ajax defence ace Matthijs de Ligt after the Dutch giants bundled Juventus out of the Champions League.
The defender nodded home Ajax second goal in their 2-1 victory over the Italian champions.
De Ligt’s performance on the day revealed why Europe’s top clubs are queuing up to seal a move for the 19-year-old this summer.

Interestingly, aside from spearheading Juve's defeat on Tuesday, April 16, the Dutchman also played a vital role in ending Real Madrid reign as defending champions of the UCL back in February in their 4-1 bashing of the La Liga giants at the Santiago Bernabeu.
De Ligt display for Ajax on the night ensured the Dutch side qualified for the UCL semi-finals spot for the first time in 22 years.
Reacting moment after the game the defender insists Ajax are still a work in progress ahead of their semi-final cracker with either Manchester City or Tottenham.

"We are never satisfied.
"There's so much potential in this team, we are all still quite young and you see us grow every game,” De Ligt was quoted as saying to BT Sport.
Already, Ajax manager Erik ten Hag has revealed that De Ligt will be leaving Amsterdam at the end of the season, with Barcelona most likely his next club.
At the last count, the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on the Dutchman, even as some Red Devils supporters are pleading with United eggheads to land De Ligt at all cost this summer.
