Manchester United's £72m bid for Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappé has been turned down by the French club.
The Ligue 1 side is requesting a world-record fee of £100m for the French youngster.

José Mourinho has made the striker a major target this summer, but the French side are willing to keep the youngster for another season before selling him.
The 18-year-old has been a major target for other top clubs in Europe after he sprung up in the Ligue 1 this season.
Legit.ng reports that he has also scored 24 goals for Monaco and has displayed sizzling performances since his emergence.

Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City are also interested in the teenager's signature
United are also interested in signing Atlético Madrid’s forward Antoine Griezmann as they are looking to replace Zlatan Ibahimovic whose future at the club is uncertain.
