Protest kick off in Abeokuta for Mohbad earlier reported that some fans of the late singer took to the streets of Abeokuta, Ogun state on his behalf.

Many youths, dressed in black outfits and carrying placards, took over major roads in the state, a week after his death.

Netizens however expressed mixed emotions about the wave of protests about to rock Nigeria.
