Current Tottenham gaffer Jose Mourinho has been slammed by his former player at Old Trafford Paul Pogba who rated the Red Devils' boss Ole Solskjaer ahead of the Portuguese tactician.

The World Cup winner with France criticized the coaching pattern of Jose Mourinho despite winning the Europa League and EFL Cup at Old Trafford.

It was Jose Mourinho who brought Paul Pogba back to Manchester United from Juventus and they both enjoyed superb working relationship initially.

However, things later turned sour between Mourinho and the French midfielder which also contributed to the Portuguese's exit at Old Trafford.

According to the report on GOAL, Paul Pogba explained that he is happy working under Ole Solskjaer claiming that the Norwegian will never look down on his players.

"What I have now with Ole is different, he wouldn't go against the players. He wouldn't go against the players.
"Maybe Ole wouldn't pick them, but it's not like he puts them on the side like they don't exist anymore. That's the difference between Mourinho and Ole.
"Once I had a great relationship with Mourinho, everybody saw that, and the next day you don't know what happened. That's the strange thing I had with Mourinho and I cannot explain to you because even I don't know."

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Paul Pogba could finally leave Manchester United at the end of the season, according to reports in Italy.

The France international's contract at Old Trafford is set to expire in the summer of 2022 and it has been suggested that United should sell rather than keep him till next season.

According to Italian news publication Tuttosport, Pogba's romance at the Theatre of Dreams will be favourable to both club and player.

The 28-year-old has been linked away from United on several occasions since making a mouth-watering £89million move in 2016.

But his persistent injury problems and fitness issues have hindered his game at the club and superagent Mino Raiola has stated on a few occasions that his client will leave the team.

The World Cup winner has scored crucial goals for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men this season including strikes against West Ham, Burnley and Fulham.
