Gernot Rohr praised Ahmed Musa's bold move to Kano Pillars claiming the Super Eagles captain will get back to full fitness, Soccer Nigeria.

The German gaffer gave the 28-year-old some playing time when Nigeria defeated Lesotho in Lagos in Nigeria's AFCON 2022 qualifiers.

The Nigerian international who is currently a free agent will now be with Pillars on temporary basis ahead of the European summer transfer window.

Musa made his 97th cap with the national team when he played against Lesotho and will be in line to feature in Nigeria's campaign for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The three-time African champions have been drawn in the same group as Cape Verde, Central African Republic and Liberia.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Patrick Pascal has given his stake on Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa who recently joined Nigerian Professional League side Kano Pillars.

The Nigerian international has been unable to seal a deal to a top club in Europe after his contract with Saudi Arabian outfit Al Nassr expired.

The 28-year-old has now rejoined his boyhood club Pillars for a short term in a bid to maintain his fitness level and return to Europe in the summer.

Legit.ng also reported that Super Eagles star Patrick Pascal who was rewarded with a three-bedroom apartment in Lagos has thanked the governor of the state Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Led by the president of the Nigerian Football Federation Amaju Pinnick, the Super Eagles players and coaching crew had dinner with Lagos state Governor on Thursday night, March 25 before their trip to Benin.

Pascal who is the current Super Eagles team coordinator was spotted during the night out and was rewarded with the prestigious gift.
