Group says Trump's administration worsened diplomatic relations between US, Africa

A group, All Lives Matter in Nigeria (ALMN) on Sunday, January 24, called on the Nigerian government and other African nations to sanction the 45th president of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
The group in a statement signed by its director of public enlightenment, Bonaventure Maduka, and seen by Legit.ng said the Trump's administration worsened diplomatic relations between the US and the African continent.
Maduka said a sanction to the past officials would help send a strong message to other world leaders insincere in their dealings on issues that affect Africa.
The group's call follows a recent sanction slapped on 28 former administration officers of Donald Trump including his secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, by China on Wednesday.

Maduka said:
"All Lives Matter in Nigeria Movement is of the considered opinion that Donald Trump's administration was by every inch of imagination against the socio-economic growth and development of Nigeria."
Maduka alleging that the Trump administration was insincere with Africa and most of his policies were targeted at Nigeria said, this affected the nation's socio-economic growth pattern.
He also said that the imposition of a travel ban on Nigerians and blacklist for alleged religious freedom violation is a clear example of Trumps anti-Nigeria policies.
He further called on Nigerian authorities to issue an executive order imposing travel bans and business restrictions on some of these US past officials.
Maduka also charged all African nations to be united against Trump in protest of his policies that stifled socio-economic growth and development in the continent.
While welcoming the travel ban reversal by Joe Biden, the group hoped that this would trigger a diplomatic turnaround in the relationship between Nigeria and the United States.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the 46th president of the US, Joe Biden, has lifted a travel ban placed on Nigerian and some other nations like Eritrea, Yemen and Sudan.
Biden lifted the travel ban on the first day of his administration as the president of the United States of America.
However, Donald Trump in what appears to be a reassuring message for his supporters said he was going to make a come back in US politics.
Trump said he will do something about his loss buy however, "not yet".
