Nigerian man asks lady out through emails, marries her

- A Nigerian man, Tobi, got the attention of a lady, Olawumi Adewale, who later became his wife through long emails

- Tobi's first email said he would like to be her best paddy as he listed the things that make him a good choice

- After some more email exchanges, Olawumi gave him a chance that led to marriage

Olawumi Adewale and Tobi, a Nigerian couple started dating after the man wooed her in a very unconventional way through emails.

When Tobi and Olawumi first met, the former in a very stylish way asked her out through email. He titled the email “Application for the position of best Paddy".

In the opening line of one of the emails whose screenshots have gone viral, the man said: “I am applying to this position to be one of your Gee’s. I think we’ll get along really well as friends.”

Further in the email, he highlighted the reasons/qualities that made him better for the application. One of them was that he is a person who is open-minded and quite spontaneous.

When the lady replied to his email, she said that she found it really funny as she thanked him for making her have a good laugh.

That response encouraged him as Tobi pushed his application more by talking about the things that drew him to her.

When Olawumi responded, she commended the painstaking effort he invested in writing all his emails as she said that she is nothing of the good qualities he ascribed to her.

In the closing line of her email, she said that she would, however, give him a try. No one needs to be told that everything sailed well from that last mail as they are now married.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian home had a reason to smile again as they welcomed their baby girl after three disappointing miscarriages.

The father of the newborn, Pascal Ezekiel, made the news known on his Instagram page on Saturday, August 29.

He said that the new blessing really goes to show that God is alive as he said that would forever be grateful for the gift.

According to the Instagram page opened for the baby named Natasha Olaedo E-Ezekiel, she was born Wednesday, August 19.
