Nigerian man builds soakaway that can generate gas for cooking, electricity

Another Nigerian has shown that there are citizens in this country with amazing skills to use indigenous solutions to drive the developments that the nation needs.

The unnamed man built a soakaway to generate cooking gas and electricity. The information about his creation and the pictures were shared by a Twitter handle, @yunusxonline. Local media report he is Okwudor in Njaba local government area of Imo state.

In one of the pictures, he could be seen building the soakaway like the one used for toilets, other pictures showed how he worked a pipe transferring the said gas into an industrial burner.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a brilliant 17-year-old, Popoola Kehinde Esther, gained media attention when a Twitter user with the handle @ThepreciousAda, posted her video online.

The brilliant girl is in the business of repairing heavy equipment, forklift. The teenager hopes to study engineering and add to her mechanical expertise.

The Twitter user's dad asked her to post the girl’s video so that her helpers could locate her and make her dream a reality. In the clip, the SS2 student said that she has a strong passion for the work she is doing.

Esther who is from Kwara state works at the Classic Bonded Terminal, Okota under her boss who was identified as Adebayo Maruf.

The good Samaritan who made her known on social media said she has decided to set up gofundme account and let people know when it is done.

Pictures of the Nigerian standing proudly with his creation were shared on the micro-messaging platform.

During the launch at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, the 25-year-old said that the sports car is just one of the many marvelous products he will be putting out.

In an interview on Friday, November 29, with the TV station, he said that his inspiration to create sports cars was borne out of the fact Nigeria and Africa are big markets for luxury vehicles.
