It is indeed a period of double celebration for popular Nollywood actor Kayode Akinbayo and his wife following their recent academic achievements.
The actor who is mostly known for his roles in Yoruba movies took to his official Instagram page to disclose that he just bagged a master’s degree in science of information technology from the Western Governors University.
Similarly, the actor’s wife also bagged a degree in psychology from the University of Houston Downtown.
"I give thanks to God almighty as I am so happy to share my accomplishment and my family’s. I am officially conferred a Masters of Science in Information Technology Management( MSITM) from a reputable university in the United States, Western Governors University. As my wifey also graduates from University of Houston Downtown (BSc Psychology)," the actor wrote on Instagram.

Kayode noted that the coronavirus pandemic could not let them attend a proper graduation ceremony but they managed to celebrate at home.

The actor in his post disclosed that there were times when he thought of quitting as he could no longer keep up with the pressure. He, however, expressed his gratitude to his wife and another friend who kept on encouraging him.
According to him, this is not the end as he also intends to pursue a PhD in cybersecurity and information assurance.
