Love is indeed a beautiful thing and finding the right one to spend one's life with, is something many people hope and pray for. For this Nigerian soldier however, that dream recently became a reality.

Currently trending on social media is a viral video of the soldier proposing to his girlfriend. In the video, the soldier is seen on his knee with a ring in his hand as he asks her to marry.

The proposal which took place by the road side with another soldier cheering on, appeared to have taken the lady by surprise. Clearly overwhelmed with joy, she is seen stretching out her hand to accept the ring with a smile on her face.

Shortly after he wears the ring on her finger, another soldiers shoots upward into the air to celebrate the beautiful moment.

The video which has since gone viral, garnered numerous reactions from social media users. While some congratulated the couple, many others joked about the lady only accepting to marry him due to the presence of guns.
