A Nigerian lady on Twitter who goes by the name Amarachi Osuji has narrated a moving story of how she dumped medicine for engineering.

Making the academic change did not come easily as she dithered for three years before she gathered the strength for the pivotal step.

The need to switch to engineering started after her first semester in Hungary. She pushed on for 5 semesters. By that time, the scholarship she was on was dealt a blow by government negligence.

After bouts with depression of “what-comes-after”, she called home and told them about wanting to leave medicine.

Her family did not take it lightly as she got many calls from them trying to dissuade her.

That particular decision would be a big part of her life years on as she on Friday, January 17, graduated with a first-class degree with a 4.9 CGPA and an award for sterling academic excellence.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Osatohanmwen Osemwengie, a robotic genius who currently works with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, has been able to deploy drones to many parts of the world.

In 2008, he was quite a star at that year’s robotics championship. In his interview with the media, he said he with a team are working on a technology called Mars Curiosity Rover which is set to launch in 2020.

Though the Edo state indigene left the country in the early 80s, he has been maintaining a strong tie with his home country.

I was in the State of Ohio on Monday, December 12th, 2016 for my Masters of Business Administration (MBA) graduation.

“This is my 6th masters degree and will begin work on my 7th masters degree in January 2017, and my 4th PhDs. degree at University of Texas at Dallas in September of 2017,” he said.
