Widowed female danfo driver gets help from Nigerians after lady narrates her moving story

- Recently, a Nigerian lady identified as Ibi Kontein shared a very touching story of a female danfo driver whom she coincidentally met

- The female danfo driver who happens to be a widow with four kids was being bullied by her male counterparts

- It was at this point that the female driver met with Ibi Kontein who took up the responsibility of being her conductor

- Later on, Ibi Kontein narrated the driver's story, and upon hearing it, many Nigerians vowed to help her

A Nigerian man identified as Ibi Kontein on Twitter shared a moving story of a widowed female danfo driver who was being harassed by other male drivers. According to the lady, the men in the park failed to help the driver from filling her bus with passengers. Rather, they kept telling her to go home and 'cook for her husband'.

Ibi Kontein who did not like the subtle insult doled out at the driver decided to be her personal bus conductor. She helped the lady fill up the bus and they started moving. As they moved, Ibi Kontein came to find out that the driver whose name is Ijeoma lost her husband and was left with four boys to take care of.

The only thing Ijeoma's deceased husband left her with was the danfo bus that he rode to earn a living. Following his death, Ijeoma used part of his burial money to see herself through a driving school. Then, she picked up her hubby's occupation and became a bus driver.

However, Ijeoma has had to put up with a lot of harassment from her male counterparts. Ibi Kontein who was interested in her story shared it on her Twitter page. In response, many Nigerians promised to help Ijeoma.

Some offered to buy a phone for her (which she does not have) while others promised to send her money to take care of her piled up expenses.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reports how a Nigerian widow, Augusta Anosike, resident in Imo state must be one of the happiest women in the country after she was gifted a house to live in.

According to the report, the woman and other members of her family had recently raised an alarm asking for help after the old mud house they used to know as home began to crumble.
