Here is the list of visa requirements for Nigerian citizens to South Korea:

  • passport (valid for at least six months on the date of submission to the embassy);
  • a copy of the first page of the passport with the tourist data;
  • 1 color photo 3,5 x 4,5 cm, on a light background;
  • 2 visa application forms filled in in English or Korean, signed personally by the applicant;
  • the original invitation from the host or booked hotel;
  • certificate of employment on company letterhead, indicating the position, period of work in this organization and salary;
  • program of stay in the country (by day!) confirming that responsibility for the actions of tourists lies with the travel agency or the inviting person.

It is also advisable to provide a copy of round-trip tickets (but this is not included in the list of required documents). Additionally, it is necessary to issue a medical insurance policy for the entire trip.

To obtain a 3-month tourist visa at the Embassy of the Republic of South Korea you need:

There are several types of student visa in South Korea:

  • Visa C-3. A C-3 visa is usually called a tourist visa. You can get it if you plan to study for more than three months. If you plan to study for more than one semester, then documents are submitted for a D-4 visa (a study visa allowing you to stay in Korea for the entire period of study).
  • D-2 visa. A long-term student visa is issued to all those who intend to study at a Korean school, college, university, graduate school or graduate school.
