It is a data bundle that gives you a data plan dedicated to accessing WhatsApp. This plan costs one hundred and fifty Naira (150 Naira) every month. And it auto renews on the day the subscription expires as long as there is airtime (i.e., up to 150 Naira airtime) on your phone at the time.
MTN system sends a notification message before and after the auto-renewal. In case, you don’t want to continue with this plan, you can cancel auto-renewal when you receive the notification message before renewal. If you would like to cancel your monthly subscription, the code to unsubscribe from MTN WhatsApp monthly subscription is “STOPWAM.” You have to send this code in an SMS to the short number 131.
Please note that once you cancel this plan when you have not reached the expiry date, you will still be able to use you plan till you exhaust it but it will not be renewed for the subsequent month.
