The corpse of the late Stephen Keshi arrived his hometown Illah, Delta state amid tears on Friday, July 29.

Keshi will be buried today and his body left Asaba for Illah, his hometown at 7am, today.

There was however a brief stopover at the Ogbelani Palace for traditional rites as a palace chief.

This will be followed by lying in state at his family home, Ukpologwu Quarters, Illah, from 11am.

Stephen Keshi who led Nigeria to win the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations died in Benin on June 8, after he was said to have complained of a leg ailment.
