Veteran Nollywood actor Fred Amata has been robbed.
According to a friend of the top actor, Yinka Akanbi, Amata was robbed of his metallic grey Lexus 470 SUV with the license plate AGL 414 CU at around 2.30am on Saturday, June 25, 2016.
Other items taken from him includes his phones and personal belongings
Amata was robbed at gun point in front of his house gate. They bundled him into his car and dropped him at Fadeyi Bridge, Lagos at 2.30am after taking his shoes.

Amata was recently sworn in as the president of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN) on Friday, April 8, 2016 at O’jez Lounge, National Stadium, Lagos after his third attempt at getting the post.
