Man Survived After Knife Fell From Sky And Landed In His Head

A kitchen knife fell from the sky and landed in the top of the man's head in Guangyuan, Sichaun Province, China.

57-year-old Xiao Yunzhi was out for a walk when a knife fell from an eighth-floor balcony of a high-rise apartment block and landed in his head. The man who initially did not notice what had happened continued his stroll till his head started to feel heavy.

One of the shocked eyewitnesses pointed out the problem and called for an ambulance. Mr Xiao was immediately rushed to a local hospital where the knife was finally removed. The man is still still recovering in an intensive care unit.

"He is stable but is not fully out of danger yet."

It was gathered that the knife belonged to a man who left the knife on one of his balcony flowerpots which is believed to have been blown off by the wind. When he learned about the incident, he visited Mr Xiao at hospital and paid some of his medical bills.

Speaking about his brother's condition, Mrs Xiao said, "It was terrifying to see. The knife handle was sticking out of the top. He is stable but is not fully out of danger yet. He cannot use the phone yet in case it has an effect on his condition."
