Former Imo LG Boss Dies Of Heart Attack

Mrs Chioma Ogoke, the Transition Committee Chairman of Ehime Mbano Local Government Area in Imo State, has passed away.

She was said to have slumped and died yesterday, August 4, in her residence after battling with a heart attack, Leadership reports.

Describing her death as unbelievable and shocking, the Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, said it came at a time when her services to both God and the people were needed.

He prayed that God gives her family the fortitude to bear her loss.

Mrs Ogoke had served as Commissioner of Commerce and Industry at the inception of the Okorocha administration in 2011.

She was said to be a strong force during the campaign of Okorocha.
