Mother Jailed For Sleeping With Her Son

A 39-year-old Bristol mother has been jailed three years and three months for having sex with her 12-year-old son while her lover abroad directed and watched the act via webcam.

The boy, who was abused by his mother in her bedroom, told police how he could hear his mother being instructed on what to do as she gave him a 'sex lesson', Dailymail reports.

The woman's (who cannot be named to protect her son) terrible act came to light after she opened up to a domestic abuse charity in Bristol that she had abused the older of her two sons who was just between 11-12 while talking about her partner.

Her confession was passed on to Avon and Somerset police and she was taken in for questioning, and the boy was interviewed.

The court heard that her 'highly destructive' partner had so far escaped justice.

However, partner police are liaising with the authorities in the unnamed country to bring him to justice.

Judge Michael Longman who gave the judgement told her: "Your behaviour towards your son was contrary to human instincts and basic decency."

The mother who cried through much of the hearing denied 'volunteering' to have sex with her son.

She was charged with engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a boy under 13, which she admitted, while her two sons were taken into care by social services and are now living with a foster family.

Meanwhile, her defence lawyer, Fiona Elder, said it was an 'extremely unusual' case and the mother was acting on instructions from her 'highly destructive' partner: "She's absolutely devastated by the loss of the children and what she has done."
