Two Policemen Stabbed By A Mad Man In Lagos
A mad man reportedly stabbed two policemen, yesterday, in Alakija area of Lagos state, as they tried to evict another mad woman from the premises of a Redeemed Christian Church of God in the area.
An eyewitness, who spoke to Daily Sun, said the insane woman was standing in front of the church when the policemen deployed to the area tried to drive away from the premises.
The mad man bundled up in the van
The mad man, who was observing what was going on, went to confront the policemen. The policemen were said to have abandoned the woman and started beating the mad man with their batons.

"Suddenly, the madman brought out a broken bottle from his bag and stabbed the two policemen, who were later rushed to Navy Town Hospital by church members and onlookers," the eyewitness said.
When other policemen attached to the church got information that their colleagues had been stabbed by a mad man, they went in search of him and eventually found him at Alakija bus-stop.

They were said to have surrounded him and overpowered him. They tied him up with a rope and drove away with him in their van, to the church for interrogation.
