Her business acumen has no match in the entertainment industry. Amusa started out in the entertainment industry as a Yoruba actress in 2002 under the tutelage of Ray Eyiwunmi theatre group managed by the trio of Lasun Ray, Muka Ray and Murphy Ray. She later left the group to start her own entertainment venture and since then there was no stopping her.
The bold, beautiful and fair actress has investments that cut across entertainment, fashion and education.
In entertainment Amusa crossed from featuring only in Yoruba movies to the English genre of Nollywood. She has also produced many movies among them Unforgivable. Nollywood babes are known to be fashionable and this has made a couple of them to delve into the fashion industry, Amusa is not left out. She owns a fashion outfit in Surulere area of Lagos.
In 2012, Dayo Amusa ventured into the education sector and this amazed many especially as many see Yoruba actresses as semi illiterate. Amusa gave her reason for going into the education sector as her love for children. She started a school called Paydab Creche and Child Centre in Surulere, Lagos in 2012. Going by the success her Lagos school recorded, she opened another one in Ibadan, Oyo state in 2013.
Dayo Amusa had her secondary education at the prestigious secondary school, Mayflower School, Ikenne. She later went to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic where she studied food science and technology.
