Even though Nigeria have been knocked out of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Eagles number one Enyeama, has been getting praise by the foreign press and media for his amazing perfomance in the Eagles goal.

The Lille of France goal stopper was named number four ahead of World cup record holder Tim Howard and Newcastle penalty hero Tim Krul.

Here is the full list

1. Manuel Neuer (Germany & Bayern Munich) The German machine got going in the championship early on, wiping Portugal 4-0 and conceding only three goals so far. During their first match Neuer showed how great and flexible he is when he produced a superb save from a stoppage-time free-kick to prevent Portugal. Neuer shot stopping quality are obvious but his impressive input for the team has been his way of playing the sweeper keeper role and never being punished by any striker yet.

*Surprisingly Neuer has only conceded three goals and those three goals where against African side in the Tournament, two against Ghana and one against Algeria.

2. Guillermo Ochoa (Mexico, Free Agent)

The Ex former Ajaccio shot stopper had just raised his CV for other clubs after putting on an unforgettable perfomance for the El Tri. The 28 year old had become a free agent after turning out three great years for his french side.

His incredible and cat like reflexes made him a nightmare for opposition strikers, and if not for some devilry from Arjen Robben, Mexico might have made it far into the tournament.

3 Keylor Navas (Costa Rica & Levante)

The World Cup loves to spring up surprises and the Surprise of the Tournament was so far the rise of Costa rica.

The team aided by their Spanish based shot stopper escaped the group of death in first place, beating Italy and Uruguay and then drawing with England with first place secured.

The they took on defending Greece side and despite being one man down where able to hold the Greek team to only one goal due to the incredible show put on by Navas, and then when it was time for penalties, Navas stepped up and made sure his name will never be forgotten by Costa rican fans.

4.Vincent Enyeama (Nigeria & Lille)

The Nigerian goalie arrived the tournament with the tag of being Ligue 1 best goalkeeper, having beaten PSG's Sirigu and Ajaccio's Ochoa (2).

His perfomance in the tournament was breathtaking, especially when against Iran, a game in which the Eagles dominated, Enyeama was still concentrated and pulled off an amazing save to tip away a header from Reza Ghoochannejhad.

He then later kept Bosnia's Edin Dzeko's shots away and against Argentina faced off against Lionel Messi. The sad part would be that his mishandling of a cross against France enabled Paul Pogba to plunder the winning goal and ruined another otherwise immaculate performance.

5 Tim Howard (USA & Everton)

Well what can we say, The man just broke a long standing record and set a new one against Belgium, he came out hot in that game and if it wasn't for a tiring USA defence and an enraged Lukaku , USA might have surpassed Belgium.

6 Raïs M’Bohli (Algeria & CSKA Sofia)

A man no one gave a chance at shining in this tournament but Algeria's Raïs M’Bohli made sure everyone was talking about him after their round of 16 2-1 loss to Germany. The CSKA man had been known as a journey man across Europe, so much that Hearts manager, Robbie Nielsen was surprised he was once in their club. We will remember him during his big game against Germany stopping Muller's close range shot and his incredible fingertip save to push a Philipp Lahm drive just round a post.

7 Júlio César (Brazil & QPR on Loan At Toronto FC)

Critics could never understand Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari's trust in Julio Cesare, but has he shut the critics down with amazing perfomance so far, The 34 year old has 86 caps for his national team and his incredible saves against Croatia and Chile will be a stuff of Legends. During the penalties against Chile, he told his teammates to “hit them with confidence and I’ll stop three” and then he went and then turned away efforts from Mauricio Pinilla and Alexis Sánchez before Gonzalo Jara tried too hard to put the ball out of the goalkeeper’s reach and hit a post.

8 Thibaut Courtois (Belgium & Athletico Madrid)

Well the Athletico Madrid man has been on the list of the Top goalkeepers in the World despite his young age. He just came to Brazil after having an amazing season, winning the La Liga and failing short of the Champions League. Belgium were not quite spectacular but against USA in the dying minute, Courtois showed that he wasn't asleep making a top block to thwart Clint Dempsey after a smart free-kick.
