Veteran Nollywood actor turned Delta State Commissioner for Culture & Tourism, Richard Mofe Damijo turned a year older, Yesterday, July 6, 2014.

RMD who turned 53 celebrated his birthday with family and friends at his Omole residence in Lagos.

The celebration was attended by celebrities in the likes of Bovi, Chico Ejiro, Teju Babyface and others.

Last month, his recent weight loss caused quite a stir on social media as there were rumours that the actor had health issues, a report the actor quickly debunked.

RMD got married to former Africa Independent Television (AIT) presenter, Jumobi in 2000, after the death of his first wife.

One of his sons, Oghenekome got married to his heartrob in December 2013.
