Abuja Tragedy Scene In Pictures

Another tragedy hit the country capital Abuja as yesterday evening an explosion occurred at the busy shopping mall Emab Plaza.

Police have put the number of casualties at 21, adding that 17 more people were injured and rushed to several nearby hospitals. 

The Coordinator of the National Information Center Mile Omeri said that one suspect was arrested in connection with the incident and one was shot by soldiers while trying to escape  from the scene. 

Recent report by Premium Times says that the President of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan has suspended the planned visit of an African Union, A.U., summit in Equatorial Guinea, to immediately return to Abuja on Thursday.
