Abubakar Disturbed By Nigeria's Challenges
Former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar has said that he is troubled by the many challenges confronting Nigeria.

He disclosed this while speaking in Ilorin on Tuesday, June 10 during the official opening of the ultra modern Ilorin General Hospitals.
"As someone who has watched our country triumph over a civil war and several other crises and had the privilege of supervising our country’s return to democracy, I am troubled by the challenges that currently confront our country," he said.
Abubakar however expressed that Nigeria will overcome its current challenges and take its rightful place among the league of prosperous nations
According to him, people's faith in the country will be restored if things are put in place like good governance, youth development, provision of infrastructure and social security; entrenchment of equity and justice which will also strengthen the people’s preparedness to work together to build the Nigeria which they desire and deserve.
He therefore called on the government at all levels not to relent in implementing programmes and projects that will elevate the people and provide them with sustainable standards of living.
