President Goodluck Jonathan Appoints Professor Alkali As New Political Adviser

Special Adviser to the President, Reuben Abati, said the President has appointed Professor Rufa'i Alkali as his new Special Adviser on Political Affairs.

President Goodluck Jonathan has also appointed Hajiya Baraka Sani as his Senior Special Assistant for Schools Agriculture Programme.

Until recently, Hajiya Baraka Sani held position of the Kano State Commissioner for Agriculture.

While, a Political Scientist, Rufa'i Alkali once served as National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and was appointed Pro-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna last year. He hails from Gombe State.

Both appointments are with immediate effect.
