Three Ladies Jailed For Fighting Over One Man In Broad Daylight
Three women were arrested for allegedly fighting over a man in broad daylight Lagos, western Nigeria.
Joy Morkoha, 37, Blessing Ugboh, 26 and Tina Osakwe, 25 were detained on charges of disturbing public order at Shobowale Street Ilasa, Lagos. The incident was provoked by Folarin Tayo who was dating the three women at once without any of them knowing.
When the deception was detected none of the women did not want to break off relations with the loveful trickster. While trying to sort the things out the offended ladies started to shout loudly at each other and a brawl turning into a fight broke out.
By the time police patrol team arrived on the scene the fighters managed to hurt each other. The women were immediately taken to Olosun division where they continued their epic showdown but did not reach a consensus.
Eventually, the troublemakers were charged to the Ijeshatedo Magistrates’ Court for the alleged offence under the Criminal Code. All three of them pleaded not guilty to the charge and were remanded in prison custody pending when they will fulfill their bail condition.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs F.O Abegunde granted them bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum. The matter was adjourned till 16 June 2014.
