One of the five suspects arrested by the Nigerian police, Mohammed Jimoh, has pleaded guilty to one of the five charges against him.

He was arrested alongside four others - Abdullaziz Muhazab, Ishiaka Saliyu, Mohammed Jimoh, Abdulwahid Nasiru and Abdullahi Nasiru.

They were arraigned, after the police arrested them in Karamajiji area of Abuja in possession of some suspicious materials.

The court clerk had in pidgin English asked Jimoh thrice if he understood the charges against him, and for the three different times he answered: "Yes, it (IED materials found on him) belongs to my friend."

The suspects were alleged to have been responsible for the multiple bomb explosions in Nyanya and Kuje areas of Abuja.

During the arraignment at the Federal High Court, counsels to the defendants and the prosecutors agreed that the suspects be moved to the Kuje facility for easy access.

However, the Judge, Abdul Kafarati adjourned hearing to Tuesday, .

Meanwhile, over 150 Boko Haram terrorists were killed by Nigerian troops assisted by hunters and local vigilantes in Adamawa state on Tuesday, October 20.
