Brown’s Tarzana home in California was attacked by a group of men who broke in at about 2am (5am ET) on Wednesday, July 15, took his aunt and locked her up in a closet.
Newest developments reveal that the singer’s close friends were behind the attack on his home as he was away making an appearance at a Los Angeles nightclub.
Joyce Hawkins, Brown’s mother, also believes the attack was masterminded by insiders, according to a report on TMZ.
Daily Mail reports that authorities have been combing the neighborhood in a bid to get footage from surveillance cameras with which to work with.
'We're trying to see if there's any video evidence that might have picked up the suspects,' Lt. Kirk Kelley (a detective) said to press men at the scene.
