Mo’ Abudu Only African Included In ‘Most Powerful Women on Global TV’

Nigerian talk-show host and media entrepreneur Mo’ Abudu has been included in the list called ‘25 Most Powerful Women on Global TV’.

The rating which was carried out by US media, The Hollywood Reporter (THR) paired the CEO of the newly launched EbonyLife TV with other women around the globe that are deciders shaping an increasingly global industry.

THR describes the Nigerian star as ‘Africa’s answer to Oprah‘.

Abudu, aged 49, is the only African named in the list. 

Some other women named in the list are Charlotte Moore – Controller, BBC One, from U.K., Elisabeth Murdoch – Chairman, Shine Group, from Australia, Martha Brass – COO, Endemol, from The Netherlands, Cecile Frot-Coutaz – CEO, FremantleMedia, from the U.K.
