Sule Lamido's Arrest: Divergent Views Among Nigerians

Yesterday, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested the former governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido.

A popular figure in Northern Nigeria, Lamido has been having a running battle with the anti-corruption body even before he left power less than 2 months ago.

Lamido and his sons have been  in the news for alleged corruption activities and the situation climaxed yesterday after the EFCC arrested Lamido himself.

Nigerians from every divide have been reacting to Lamido's arrest. Comments on the issue are divided as some are in support of Lamido, while some are hailing the EFCC for what they think is a job well done.
