Dickson, PDP hunt Dame P's Men for Anti Party Activities
Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are looking to punish two close allies of Dame Patience Jonathan, Wife of President Goodluck Jonathan.
These two allies, Senator Emmanuel Paulker and Mr. Waripamowei Dudafa are currently serving as domestic aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, they are wanted for anti-party activities.
Paulker had just secured a third term and Dudafa have been on a running battle with Dickson and the state chapter of PDP for allegedly sponsoring candidates in other political parties against PDP’s candidates.
One of these supposed candidates are Mr. Ebiye Tarabina of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) who is said to have gotten monetary support from Dudafa.

Tarabina had defeated Mr. Ongore a PDP candidate, to win the Kolokuma-Opokuma Constituency II House of Assembly election.
Dudafa and Paulker are close allies of President Jonathan and his wife, Dame Patience.
Dickson had organized a committee to look into the activities of Dudafa, Paulker and other Abuja-based politicians during the concluded elections in the state.

Dickson told the committee: “Those found culpable would be expelled from the party”.
He added: “The era of indiscipline and disloyalty that has bedevilled this party in this state is over for good. People should take this message home.
“We want honest and genuine members who understand the meaning of being a party man or woman and being a party official means subordinating personal interest for group interest.
“I have come to deliver a message of hope. The state is solidly PDP. The issue of indiscipline in the next couple of days the report will be out and they will all be gone.”

Dickson said that the Government is aiming to reorganize and strategize the Party for the 2019 elections.
Dickson noted that the meeting was arranged to encourage PDP members not to despair in the face of the party’s defeat at the national level.
The governor promised to hold consultations with the party leadership to organise a thanksgiving service to acknowledge the role of God in the affairs of the state.
He expressed happiness that the state has been enjoying relative peace and stability since he came on board.
Supporters of Senator Emmanuel Paulker and Mr. Waripamowei Dudafa have denie having doing anti PDP campaigns and say that the latest accusations is just a witch hunt from the government.
