The controversies that have emerged in the buildup to the 2015 election, many will say have been nothing short of drama and anxiety.

But with a critical look at the events that have unfolded, it is quite evident that  more of the drama has been nurtured from the camps of the two main parties ahead of the upcoming elections (The All Progressives Congress and The Peoples Democratic Party).

In the space of one month, the country has witnessed series of attacks and counter-attacks from the two top parties and there are really no signs of these tantrums abating any time soon.

One notable example of the two party verbal altercation will be the case of the spokesperson of the PDP and President Goodluck Jonathan campaign organization, Femi Fani-Kayode and the duo of APC party leaders, Bola Tinubu (APC National Chairman) and Governor Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers state Governor/Spokesperson of General Muhammadu Buhari campaign organization).

Now joining the list of verbal altercation is the first lady of Nigeria, Mrs. Dame Jonathan. In a recent visit to Kogi state, the first lady of Nigeria, Mrs Dame Patience Jonathan targeted the presidential candidate of the APC General Muhammadu Buhari saying his brain is dead.
