My Support For Jonathan Unwavering - Delta State Gov, Uduaghan
Delta State governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, has said his support for President Goodluck Jonathan was unwavering.
Uduaghan made this known at the new Government House, Asaba, when he received a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Tony Anenih, who paid him a visit.
Anenih was in Delta as part of his tour of South-South states, to drum support for the ruling party.
Uduaghan told Anenih that the projects being executed by his administration was spurred by the need to leave behind a legacy that would stand the test of time.
He said such projects, like the new Government House, Asaba International Airport and others, were important for the state, just as he decried a situation where the state was without a befitting Government House before now.
“We deserve to have a befitting Government House. We are working towards leaving behind legacies of landmark projects,” he said.
He assured that the government and people of Delta State would always support President Jonathan and his transformation agenda.
“The president is one of us and we are solidly behind him, knowing that his programmes will bring development to this country,” he said.
Earlier, Chief Anenih had commended Governor Uduaghan for the strides his administration had recorded, noting that the new Government House was a well executed project.
