Wife Burns Sleeping Husband With Hot Water As Punishment For Cheating
The man, Gilbert Khoza, was allegedly accused of by his wife Siphiwe Khoza. This was after his wife answered his cellphone in the middle of the night and discovered that it was from a suspected girlfriend. Gilbert was asleep and could not respond to his suspected lover's call.
According to a source close to the family, Gilbert arrived home drunk on the day in question. He did not switch off his mobile phone before retiring to bed.
"During the night, the phone rang and was answered by his wife who later learnt it was her husband's mistress," said the source.
The 'small house', seemingly revealed her affair after being subjected to tough questioning by Siphile. It was not good news for the woman as it seemed it was something she least expected from her husband.
"Siphiwe, acting out of fury, boiled water and scalded her husband waking him up in the process. Gilbert was burnt all over the body," said the source.
The fuming woman told Gilbert about the phone call that had got him into trouble.
"I understand Gilbert was in serious pain to try and defend himself. On the following day, he even refused to go to the hospital citing that by so doing it would be as good as reporting his wife to the police," said the source.
Gilbert is nursing his wounds at home, according to sources. When reached for comment, the 'boiled man' could neither confirm nor deny the allegations.
"We had a small misunderstanding with my wife, but now everything is back to normal," he said.
